[Zomborg Apocalypse - 006]

Nicely done.

I check the portal out often and for a while now I've seen movies of this series being submitted every so often. I could obviously tell that it dealed with zombies and I should have checked it our right away since I love zombie movies, but for some reason I never checked out the series till today. I must say that it is very cool. I love your style of artwork and animation. You use the music and sound fx really well to. I'm sure you've gotten this a lot but it would be a tad better if there were actual voices to the characters. I love how you make the zombies cyborgs. It's just so original! Keep up the great work. I'll be looking forward to chapter 7.

Nice!

You've made another great movie Andrew. I love the amount of parodies you did in this. The one that stuck out for me mainly, even though it was very short, was spoofing the classic Batman show. I've always loved Batman and those old shows were always awsome. Other short spoofs that I liked were the Resident Evil and the Mortal Kombat ones.

There was one problem that I had. I have this problem sometimes too when I make a movie. I found myself turn the volume up and down constanly. The voices kept going up and down. That's my only problem with this movie. Other then that it was great.

Oh yeah, thanks for getting permission to use The Psychiatrist!!!! Haha I'm just messing. That was actually kind of cool. Keep up the awsome work my friend. Congrats on the 4th place award.

Hey man, thanks for the awesome long review. I definietly prefer long reviews than short one sentence ones. Yeah, the old Batman shows were definietly awesome! The voices will always have some form of conflict. My idea, is to write down a complete screenplay for my next animation (what ever it may be) and then say all of the lines during a period of 5 minutes straight; reading them one by one and saying them. That way all of the voiceovers are the same volume. THank you once again Eric for reviewing this movie. I'm glad you really liked it. I'm looking forward to Horror Psychiatrist 4.

Good as always.

I'm not sure I would say this is the best of the series but it is great. As I said I'm not sure if I really liked the blackness scene because I don't like having to imagine stuff. Especially in flash movies. There were a few funny lines in the movie. A pack of zombies....etc, that was a pretty funny little joke. Keep it up, I'll be looking for to your next project. I think I will go watch the other four episodes once more :)

Good

Well I thought I'd chrime my two cents in now. Overall it was good. I'm having trouble deciding if I like this best or if I like part 2 better. It had a few funny moments. Some of the scenes kind of played by fast and seemed strange. Such as when he is looking out the window, it first appears that he is looking at the bed and then all of a sudden 3 or 4 zombies get shot. It just goes by a little fast for me. Other then that it was good. Keep em coming. I hope you don't delete this and resubmit it. You should really just go on ahead with part 5.

I don't get it...

How is this so popular? This certainly has to be one of the most over-rated flash movies on Newgrounds. Sure it has it's funny moments but all it mainly is are pictures from the game with your own little dialogue. There's no really animation or anything except that last little cartoon. It plays out as a talking comic strip which you may have wanted it to be but I certainly don't think it deserves the rating it has. I don't know, obviously it wasn't for me. If other people like it, then that's cool but I didn't. Sorry.

Well 8 is certainly better then 5.

You did improve upon the original. I actually got a little chuckle out loud on how much blood came out of the one leg haha. I am decided if I like this better then the first. But I still think part 2 is the best one yet. The little origin on the missing hand was pretty cool too and I still like how she sticks her hand through the hole in the guy's head to get the popcorn. I'm getting more and more anxious for the mass carnage. I'm sure when those episodes come you'll be getting 9s or 10s from me then. :) Keep it up.

I put ya in the credits too, thanks man for the early constructive criticism. Ah man, I would've been really disappointed if accidently submitted the raw version of Ep3 onto Newgrounds as well. Thank you for giving your two cents. Much appreciated.
And I'm glad that you enjoyed the official version of Episode 3, and got a chuckle with the overexagerated gore, heh.

This was good. A little better then the first. Although I did think the first was funnier. I thought it was interesting how he could change his hand into numerous weapons. The zombies were cooler looking then I imagined. :) However I wish there were a little more groans and sounds like that for the zombies. Just a little nit pick from a zombie fan. Other then that the series is turning out really good. I'll be looking forward to part 3.

Awesome, I'm glad that you liked Episode 2. Of course in my mind, I'll always ask myself if a next episode or animation in general will be a flop...and the only way to find out is to hear it from the viewers, especially fans. I'm glad you liked the weapon selection system he has built in his wrist. Also, the zombies as well. I will have different sounds for the zombies, including groans and such, but just a little later. Episode 1 is funnier in different ways because that one is a straightout comedy/set up for the movie. Episode 2's humor, and future episodes will be physical humor.

Pretty good.

That was a good start. Can't wait to see episode 2. I really like that you didn't use gradients this time. The animation was nice and smooth too. I do have one question. Since it's in black and white, does that mean that the gory scenes are in black in white too? I mean, I prefer nice red blood and all that other good stuff. But if it's in black in white that will still be cool. Keep it up. I gave it a 5.

Shades of dark gray and black for blood, but lots of it. I did consider to make everything black and white EXCEPT for the gore, but I thought it would look a little wierd in the end. Might as well just be 100% loyal to black and white and it's colour restrictions. I'm very happy that you enjoyed Episode One has much as you did, and soon enough Episode 2 will be out. Thanks for the 5!
